Welcome to Aledo Band Boosters!Congratulations! If you have a band student you are a Band Booster! Your joining fee was included in your students band fees. If you do not have a student, but would like to be a Band Booster we would love to have you. Just download the membership form, fill it out, and either bring it to the next band booster meeting or mail it to: Aledo Band Boosters, P.O. Box 476, Aledo TX, 76008. Our purpose is to provide financial and volunteer assistance to meet the needs identified by the band directors at McAnally, the Middle School, and the High School. Beach Within ReachCongrats to the McAnally Beginner Band for receiving Unanimous First Place and Band of the Day at the Beach Within Reach held at Hurricane Harbor on May 5th. High School Band BanquetOmni Hotel, May 25, 2012, 7pm Every year I get questions on who attends the band banquet. Normally, we have around 600 guests. I really encourage every student and every parent to attend. It's not your normal banquet. I promise the parents have just as much fun as the students. Encourage your child to attend because all grades are represented in the awards ceremony and dance. Senior students are free. Everyone is invited (friends, in-laws, grandparents, dates)...Sherrie Fanning will be in charge of seating so start thinking about who is going to be at your table. This banquet is for the entire high school band program. We have an incredible awards ceremony, followed by a fabulous video, and wrapped up with an incredible dance. Tickets will be $20.00 which is very cheap considering we have it at the OMNI.....plus parking. Parking is $10 for Valet or in the garage at the garage rates. The date is Friday, May 25th, at 7:00 pm. Attire for students is usually formal and semi-formal. Attire for parents is generally semi-formal. AHS Bands receive UIL SweepstakesApril 20, 2012 All four Aledo High School Bands received Sweepstakes this month at the UIL Region 7 Concert and Sightreading Contest in Burleson. This was the second year all four bands have gone to the competition, and the second straight year that all bands achieved Sweepstakes status.

Band Booster's Auction and Dinner Wrap-upJanuary 28, 2012 The 2012 Aledo Band Boosters Annual Dinner and Auction was huge success ~ we raised over $21,000 which will greatly benefit all the Aledo ISD band students throughout the year. We would also like to thank Babe's Chicken House for a wonderful dinner as well as all our other community sponsors, volunteers and parents for their continuous support. A special thanks to our band directors and bands for a great night of entertainment! We look forward to seeing you again next year!
Thanks again to our generous donors! Record Eight AHS Band Students Named to All-State BandThis past weekend, 30 AHS band students (a record number) went to Midland to compete at the TMEA Area B Contest in hopes of earning the chance to become an All-State Band member. Of those, a record of eight AHS students achieved this goal. They are:

4A All State Band Several Aledo students have achieved All-State status since the band program started in the mid-1970s. In this year's elite group, Natasha C. reached this status for three straight years. Ryan P., Hunter T. and Laura G. also are repeat State winners. Congratulations to our All-State Band students!
