Welcome to Aledo Band Boosters!Congratulations! If you have a band student you are a Band Booster! Your joining fee was included in your students band fees. If you do not have a student, but would like to be a Band Booster we would love to have you. Just download the membership form, fill it out, and either bring it to the next band booster ing or mail it to: Aledo Band Boosters, P.O. Box 476, Aledo TX, 76008. Our purpose is to provide financial and volunteer assistance to meet the needs identified by the band directors at McAnally, the Middle School, and the High School. Band Booster's Auction and DinnerJanuary 28, 2012, 5:00pm, AHS Cafeteria Our annual Dinner and Auction is January 28th. This year the dinner is being catered by Babe's Chicken Dinner House. Be sure to order your dinner tickets early, the deadline for receipt of form is January 13th, don't forget to purchase a ticket for your band student. All bands and the winterguard and cadets will be performing throughout the evening. Ticket Form Performance Schedule Record Eight AHS Band Students Named to All-State BandThis past weekend, 30 AHS band students (a record number) went to Midland to compete at the TMEA Area B Contest in hopes of earning the chance to become an All-State Band member. Of those, a record of eight AHS students achieved this goal. They are:

4A All State Band Several Aledo students have achieved All-State status since the band program started in the mid-1970s. In this year's elite group, Natasha C. reached this status for three straight years. Ryan P., Hunter T. and Laura G. also are repeat State winners. Congratulations to our All-State Band students! Auction and Dinner Donations NeededDonations are needed for the Aledo Band Booster Silent/Live Auction that will be held January 28, 2012. Please fill out this form if you have an item you would like to donate. Email if you have any questions. Merchandise Preorder!due by January 28, 2012 Katie is making another Merchandise order. Send this form and check to your child's band director if you are interested. Katie will also be accepting forms at the auction dinner on January 28. 
On The Border Night FundraiserFebruary 5, 2012 Our monthly fundraiser at On The Border, Bryant Irvin is on Sunday, February 5. The Aledo Band Boosters will receive 20% of your food and drink purchases from open to close (11 am to 10 pm). Please share the flyer with your family and friends and ask them to eat at On The Border on Sunday, December 4th. You must present the flyer to the waitress for the Boosters to get credit for the visit.Remember we get credit for anyone who eats there and presents our flyer so pass the word! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. We have earned over $1500 for the Band Boosters since beginning this event in April. We plan to make this a recurring event on the first Sunday of each month.
