Supporting the Aledo ISD Bands


Welcome to Aledo Band Boosters!

Congratulations! If you have a band student you are a Band Booster! Your joining fee was included in your students band fees. If you do not have a student, but would like to be a Band Booster we would love to have you. Just download the membership form, fill it out, and either bring it to the next band booster ing or mail it to: Aledo Band Boosters, P.O. Box 476, Aledo TX, 76008.

Our purpose is to provide financial and volunteer assistance to meet the needs identified by the band directors at McAnally, the Middle School, and the High School.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month (usually).

How To Stay Informed


In addition to talking to your child, here are some ways to keep up with what is going on with the bands and guards:

  1. Attend Booster Meetings.
  2. Bookmark and check these websites frequently.
  3. Sign up for newsletters from Mr Robinson .
  4. Volunteer , there are lots of opportunities!

  

Cafe Concert

February 8, 2010

The Cafe Concert gives band parents a chance to hear their students perform their ensemble pieces with their fellow group members. Parents also get to enjoy great desserts and drinks while they listen. So make a point to come out and support our scholarship fund while you hear some great music! Any questions or to volunteer to bring a dessert just email Rita Maddux-Potter .

Winterguard Contest

Aledo High School will be hosting a Winterguard Contest again this year. This is an all day event and lots of volunteers will be needed. Stay tuned, as specific shifts and positions will be posted here soon.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported the band at the annual Auction and Dinner Fundraiser. Due to your generous support we were able to raise over $15,000 for the AISD bands. Thanks to Fanci and all her volunteers for organizing such a successful fundraiser.
